At the core of it I’m a traveller

And I want even the most normal of days to involve that passion. I started working in travel in 2005 and haven’t deviated since; this is my place.

In my student days I dabbled in both theatre production and biomedical science, but travel is what called to me and has kept me. Every trip holds new excitement, a feeling I never want to lose. I’ve marked a visit to 67 countries, and counting!

What have some of my trips looked like?

Tokyo was a highlight due to the intersection of modern and traditional, and the calm and beautiful people. The Galapagos was amazing for the water and the land, and shacking up in an isolated cottage on a Scottish island only accessible by car ferry for some hiking and calm recharged me for the next adventure.

But my favourite? An expedition cruise to Antarctica. That place is like nothing else, the ends of the earth. The variety of travellers onboard blew me away, children to 80 plus, singles to families, from every corner of the world. The common factor between these people? Staying curious about life and the world, and wanting to share that passion with others.

I started with one of the world’s largest travel companies, dipped a toe in the world of corporate travel and luxury travel concierge work, and now want to focus on personalised, one-on-one work with like-minded travellers.
