What you can expect when you work with me
Consultation:
A chat is often the best place to start, either on the phone or in person at a place convenient to you. This is where we can get to know each other, and I can start to build a picture of how you like to travel and what you have in mind. Communication from there onwards can be via phone, email or text, whichever is most suited to you. I will generally send an initial itinerary planning email with ideas and options as I find that getting your feedback prior to a full pricing helps me feel more confident that you love what I put together.
Booking:
Once a full pricing has been done and you’re excited to go ahead we’ll arrange payment of a deposit or full payment, dependent on the supplier’s conditions. Final payment is generally due 6 weeks prior to travel.
Travel:
Approximately 4 weeks prior to travel you will receive your documentation, which gives you access to all of your travel information via a weblink, PDF, and an app. You have the option to share this with friends and family so they can keep a track of you as you travel! If you need any assistance during your trip, the same methods of phone, email or text are available; I’m always here to help, from start to finish.
Home TIME:
When you return home I love to touch base and get your rundown on what was fabulous about your trip, and what we might change for next time. If you already have an idea of your next trip I often give tips as to when might be best to start planning for it.
Curious about fees?
The Curious Traveller charges a trip-planning fee to acknowledge the time and care I put into my client’s travel. I take pride in the fact that my clients return to me; I make it easy and hassle free and believe I can add value to your trip. If I can’t, I will let you know immediately.
